Sorry I haven't updated for a while but I've been eleswhere in the country these last few days but I'm back now so expect more regular updates again.
In a recent event held by SNK Playmore in Akihabara they have shown their newest installment in the KOF franchsie, The King of Fighters XIII to the public.
The will also hold a location test this weekend at an arcade in Tokyo. Any of you critters who live nearby try to make it down and have a look!
Images are popping up on the internet. Neo Empire have some of them which you can view just underneath this text here!
Looks like the Gals Team from KOF '94 has been re-added and their is still space in the roster for 6 additional characters. Who could they be? Hopefully they'er welcome additions and we'll know for sure when the game is released in arcades this Summer.
Thanks to NEO EMPIRE for the images!

FFXIII BREAKS THIS YEAR'S SALES RECORDS IN THE UK
GamesIndustry.biz have reported that the latest instalment in the Final Fantasy franchise has broken sales records in the UK for 2010 as the fastest selling new release to date.
Not too surprising that a new Final Fantasy game would sell well to gamesplayers with the RPG series’ history deeply routed in game fandom for roughly the last 20 years. Fans have been waiting roughly 5 years for the next numbered sequel and so the high first week sales figures can easily be understood.

NICE SUPRISE FOR BUYERS OF PS3 VERSION OF FFXIII
GENERAL STATUS UPDATE
It has been a while since I've updated but I've been busy with many things and contributing to other blogs as well. You can check some of my frequent news updates over at Daily Gaming News who have been kind enough to allow me to cat as a contributor for their website. You can also read some of my reviews on Realm of Gaming where I have contributed reviews of Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Heavy Rain (I may also update them to this blog as well in the near future for those loyal followers who grace my blog (and thanks to them)).
Anyway, just a quick news update today to coincide with the release of FFXIII.
NEWS BIT
As reported over on CVG those who buy FFXIII (released today) will be in for a special Final Fantasy-related treat.
If you buy FFXIII, inside the box will be a card with a serial code on it with which if you register on Square-Enix’s website will allow you to get an extra item for when FFXIV is released later this year.
The extra perk is that those who register will be put into a ‘prize draw’ to have the opportunity to play the Beta of FFXIV when that is released so there is something more than just an additional item that will make registering worthwhile. Sounds promising.

THIS YEARS EUROGAMER EXPO CONFIRMED FOR THE START OF OCTOBER 2010
The Eurogamer Expo is due to be held from October 1-3 this year at the prestigious Earl’s Court in London.
Over on GamesIndustry.biz Eurogamer have been quoted as saying:
"In addition to masses of playable games, this year's Eurogamer Expo will deliver an even wider range of other attractions," added David Lilley, Expo event director. "It's our intention to provide a full day's entertainment to this key group of opinion formers and gaming advocates."
Looks like the Eurogamer folks have lofty ambitions to continue taking Eurogamer Expo to bigger and bigger venues. What venue will they secure next? (my tip is on somewhere in Las Vegas).
