New review coming real, real soon

Hello there folks. I know I've been away from the blog for a while but I've had some personal and family-related issues to sort and now with those more or less laid to rest I intend to update the blog with a review of the 2D weapons fighter Blazeblue in the next few days. Please await the write-up and any feedback is more than welcome.

Heiwa yo!

Family matters

Hey there folks. Sorry for not updating for a while but an important family matter has arisen recently and it is something that I need to spend some time on arranging for the time being. No doubt I will get back to updating the blog shortly though but all in due course. Please eagerly await the next update!

Quick one on Monday morning

Hello there folks. I've been a busy bee and for your reading pleasure I've put up 3 reviews that I wrote recently. Please have a read and see what you think (and listening to the theme of Legend of Zelda by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra right now makes it so much more adventurous!)

DEVIL MAY CRY 4 REVIEW

Capcom can be credited as a company that have created and established genres in gaming since the company's inception. Street Fighter and Resident Evil are notorious examples and although no less important, Devil May Cry 4 (hereafter DMC4) is the latest installment in the long established franchise that was the originator of another genre; that of combo-based flashy action adventure (or something along those lines).

RYU GA GOTOKU 3 DEMO REVIEW

The demo for Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 (hereafter RGG3) was made available on the Japanese PSN approximately a month before the game's release in February earlier this year. The demo put you in the scenario of controlling the main character named Kazuma Kiryu, a member of the Tojo clan of yakuza who is a pretty decent guy to say he is a member of an organised crime family. He has returned from the orphanage he runs in Okinawa due to troubles stirring in Kamuro-cho (based on the real district of Kabuki-cho.)

TEKKEN 5: DARK RESURRECTION REVIEW

The most recent outing from Namco Bandai's martial arts fighting's camp is the updated version of Tekken 5 which was originally released in the arcades and on the PS2, then as Tekken 5: DR on the PSP. Namco then decided it was a good idea to re-release the aforementioned game on the PS3 as a downloadable title, updated accordingly for Sony's next-gen system. Was it worth Namco's efforts and the playing time? Read on to find out.

UNCHARTED: DRAKE'S FORTUNE REVIEW

It had to happen. Of all these reviews this is the one that's probably taken the most time to put up but one that I'm happy to share, a review of the game Uncharted.

Anyone who likes films will have at sometime in their life seen one of the Indiana Jones films. Great films that are full of exploration, excitement and dark mystery. Introducing Uncharted on the PS3 as a game that acts as much of a homage to these films as it is a great game in its own right is as good as any way of talking about one the finest adventure games to grace the PS3 yet.

RESIDENT EVIL 5 REVIEW

Resident Evil 5. The game with the name that caused as much controversy as it did excitement leading up to its release, the official 5th game in the franchise released earlier this year also caused fans to reassess their opinions of the franchise when the main forthcoming message from Capcom was that of 'Resident Evil with co-op'.

A few months on and with the controversy and shock having died down, a review of Resident Evil 5 (hereafter RE5) can be done with attention being paid to what should have always been the centre of attention itself; the game.
